“My win being here at Mojave Academy and doing Life Basics is that I’ve improved so much. After three months of doing nothing and being the victim, I decided to try out the Life Basics Program. I handled being rude to people, being honest, getting along with others, getting ethics in and stopped being a victim. I’ve learned so much and have improved tons all because I decided to just do Life Basics. The best part of all was handling me on being a victim. Being able to handle my side and be cause is AWESOME! I’m really glad that I did the Life Basics program.”

“Here are my wins since being at the Mojave Academy:

“In other schools I’ve been in, it’s like going through a tube and there are lots of bubbles. Here they fill in all the bubbles so you can just move through. In other schools you don’t always learn but they pass you on anyway. Here you really learn it all the way.

“When I first came here I was told there weren’t any grades – it was weird at first, but now I see why.

“Since I’ve done the Cause Program I don’t blame everyone else for stuff that I do.

“Laurel taught me better ways to take care of my little sister. Now she’ll be a better person because of this.

“I look different now too!

“I also have a lot of realizations about things like eating right and taking care of myself.

“Well, I don’t even know where to begin to thank you for the product you got in H. He looks great, his tone level is high, he can’t stop telling us about all the great things he did… We couldn’t be happier. The change in his responsibility level was already demonstrated by the fact that he chose water over coke on the plane. He wants to make smoothies every day for us and can’t wait to get back to school.
